editorial 1
This editorial is about air safety and states incidents where in some cases people have died simply because pilots weren't doing their job correctly. It discusses the no "un-job related" talking under 10,000 feet and the new debate if cock-pits conversations should be checked more regularly. The conversations are only checked when there is an accident. This article states some specific incidents and what the pilots were talking about when the accident occurred. In one case the pilots were on their laptops. The end of the article discussed National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration and Congress in enacting recording the pilots conversations. My opinion of the editorial is that pilots should be monitored irregularly. I think this because in some cases pilots have killed passengers due to negligence.
